The core of what Kandu offers are our carefully designed group exercise classes for the Over 50s targeting the key areas of strengthmobilitybalance and cardio-vascular training.

But where we differ from your average exercise class is that we don't just forget about you after class...

Our class is a great start to getting healthy but in order to achieve lasting results, you need to be active more than just once a week. That's why we offer you the following support outside the class:

 

- Videos of all the exercises and mobility routines are exclusively available to you to practice on your own. Here's an example!

- Throughout the week we offer encouragement and motivation to stay active through our Members Only Facebook Group, and we’re always on hand to answer any questions

- We write and share interesting articles on a wide range of topics from nutrition to health psychology. Check out our blog!

- We organise walks once a month for members so we can socialise whilst getting active - we figure if you get on with the people you exercise with, you’re more likely to stick with it!

 

What we expect from you

We are confident we are offering everything you need to take your health and fitness to the next level.

However, to ensure that you get the most out of our programme we need a few commitments from you:

 

- You have made a personal commitment to get healthy - it's fine to be motivated by family, friends, or even because of medical advice, but the way you will really see benefits is by wanting it for yourself! 

- You're prepared to commit time to activity outside the class to achieve lasting changes - we will be giving you activities to do at home between classes. (We'll give you all the videos, teaching points and encouragement you need to do this, so don't worry!)

- You're happy to be part of our Facebook Members Group - we believe that being part of our community will help give you the motivation and accountability to instil healthy habits

- You'll be encouraging and supportive to each other inside and outside the class

 

I would definitely recommend Kandu with no hesitation - whatever your level of fitness, the exercises are crafted to you and you can do as much or as little as you need, while always being gently pushed to go that little bit further.
